A Powerful Way To Accomplish Our Goal - Write A Letter To Future Me

Today, on my birthday, I received a letter from my Kevin-38 that reminded me to love myself more, celebrate small wins, and let go of the pressure to achieve perfection.

It was a powerful reminder that I wanted to share with all of you.

📨 As I read the letter from my past-self, I was struck by how much I had grown and changed over the years. (Yes, people can change!)

I had set lofty goals for myself, and I hadn't achieved all of them yet. But the letter reminded me that success is not only measured by big accomplishments; it's also about the small wins along the way.

This reminded me of the followings:

💜 Love yourself more: Sometimes we can be our worst critic. We need to forgive our own mistakes and learn from these experiences. We should also learn to love ourselves for who we are. Saying "NO" to things and people is also a way to love ourselves more, it is saying "YES" to our own need.

🎉 Celebrate progress: It's easy to get caught up in the end goal and forget about the progress we make along the way. By celebrating small milestones, we build momentum.

🕹 Let go of perfectionism: Perfectionism can be paralyzing and it can be that invisible barrier that prevent us from taking action. Instead of striving for perfection, we should focus on progress and appreciate the effort we put into our work. Trust that it is an evolution and we will continue to improve with each checkpoint.

As I celebrate another year of life, I am grateful for the lessons I have learned and the progress I have made. I may not have achieved everything I wanted to, but I am thankful for the opportunities that have come my way and the people who have supported me along the way. I hope this letter from Kevin-38 inspires you to embrace gratitude, celebrate progress, and let go of the pressure to achieve perfection.

Now, Kevin-39 will take over from here, thanks Kevin-38 and the previous Kevins for all you have done. I will continue to do my best and pass my best year to Kevin-40 in 2024.
